Dolly Parton, born Jan. 19th, 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. to 12 children from a poor family children who would grow up in the same household, figured out very early how to get out of her difficulties with her incredibly vibrant imagination. But she resigned from the show in 1974, as her own songs like Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene had begun charting their collaborative efforts.
