Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor, director producer and vocalist. As an intelligent and attractive actress, Lucy Liu serves as a role model for many Asian actors working in Hollywood who wish to make it big. The early successes of her were boosted by her appearance on several popular television shows. There, she portrayed the evil Ling Woo. After a sudden surge in popularity, the actress landed roles on big screens such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superlative performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren In the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill Volume 1. At the same time she appeared in box office failures, including Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started to voice prominent characters in animated films, such including Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role on the small screen on Cashmere Mafia did not produce the desired results. Southland, a critically acclaimed series of police dramas which featured Liu in recurring parts, helped to establish her as an actress. Liu is very careful in selecting her roles in order that she is not cast in a very intensely competitive field. Although she is adamant about her heritage however, this has not hindered her when it comes to her career as an artist.
